When I painted this, I wanted to hold onto the feeling of a still morning in the countryside. The path, half-covered in melting snow, led my eye toward the distant trees, where the mist blurred the line between the earth and the sky. The contrast between the cool, pale tones of the snow and the warm, earthy browns of the path felt like a quiet conversation between the seasons. It’s a simple scene, but one that holds a deep sense of calm and the quiet promise of renewal.
